For the second year running, Spanish consumers recognise the Dulce Italiano sweet pepper Sweet Palermo with the Taste of the Year seal.
“Taste of the Year” is the only seal based exclusively on the taste qualities of the products, which are tested and approved by consumers.
The Global Quality Group has been organising the award ceremony for more than 13 years in Spain and 20 years in Europe.
A critical jury of consumers highlighted the quality of Sweet Palermo compared to other varieties. The aspects evaluated were the taste, appearance, smell and texture of the Sweet Palermo range in the colours red, yellow and chocolate.
Very sweet, thin-skinned, hardly any seeds, especially versatile and very rich in vitamin C. It’s characteristics have confirmed it as the consumer’s favourite with the Flavour of the Year Award 2021.
