The Sweet Palermo sweet pointed pepper was launched in 2015 in Berlin at FRUIT LOGISTICA, the leading international trade fair for innovations in fruit and vegetables. Visitors to the event could see, touch and taste Sweet Palermo and hence discover the unique characteristics of this innovative vegetable for themselves. The visitors who submitted the most original descriptions of Sweet Palermo’s flavour won a copy of the book ‘Plenty’ by Yotam Ottolenghi. The 10 winners were:
